Burttschell Rescue Ranch Volunteer Application

All volunteers under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian co-sign the Volunteer Application and the Waiver of Liability which is a separate form.
If you are 15 years or younger, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when volunteering, unless prior approval is given by the shelter manager.

In consideration of Burttschell Rescue Ranch accepting my application for participation in the Volunteer Program, I agree to release and hold harmless the BRR, its Directors, Officers, Agents, and Employees from and against any and all loss, damage, claims, liability, costs and expenses of any nature whatsoever, including without limitations, attorney’s fees and disbursements, arising from or occasioned by my participation in the BRR Volunteer Program. I understand there are certain risks of personal injury, death, disease and property damage in handling the animals and other volunteer activities on behalf of the BRR, and I accept those risks.

I agree that the BRR may photograph my participation in the program and I hereby release any such photographs to the Green Hills Animal Shelter for use in its programs, publications, and purposes. I understand and agree that in order to be fully approved as a BRR Volunteer I must agree to a background check prior to beginning volunteer activities.

I have read and fully understand the terms and conditions of the Volunteer Agreement and have or will complete the separate Waiver of Liability and I will willingly comply with all its conditions.

By submitting my electronic signature, I hereby certify that the answers given herein are true and complete, and I authorize investigation of any and all statements contained in this application, as they may be necessary in arriving at a decision regarding my participation in the BRR Volunteer Program.

I hereby agree that Burttschell Rescue Ranch reserves the right to discontinue the assistance of any volunteer at its discretion.

I hereby certify that the person signing this form is 18 years of age or older. If under age 18, the form must be co-signed and submitted by a parent or guardian.
